Company Formation

Foundation of the family business "PL-Mechanik GmbH & Co.KG" by Patrick Lamprecht and his parents Beate and Thomas Ramsperger. The company was established in the basement of the private house in Neuhausen. The object of the company was the finishing and polishing of hard metal surfaces and precision mechanical processing of high-purity and refractory metals.

2001

History

New Building

The premises became too small, so that in 2000 the first new company building was built in the industrial area in Neuhausen "Am Wasenbrunnen 12". The move to the property took place in May 2001. In the meantime, the company had grown to 5 employees and the machinery was expanded.

2006

History

Name Change

PL-Mechanik was renamed to PLM GmbH & Co. KG.

2007

History

ISO Certification

PLM has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001.

2008

History

Another New Building

New construction of another company building "Am Sägewerk 11". For this new building, the management placed special emphasis on ecological and sustainable construction. The classic handicraft business became a modern industrial company with future-oriented processing machines. PLM invested in new machines and personnel. The company grew to 18 employees.

2015

History

Expansion

PLM is investing in new technologies and plans to introduce environmental certification the year following. The company also places great emphasis on the training of future skilled personnel. PLM trains two machinists every year and the workforce grows to a total of 30 employees.

Company anniversary: For 20 years now, the motto has been: "Ideas create the future"
